UBC Community's United Way Presents: Karaoke Night
About This Event
United Way has been helping people in the Lower Mainland for more than 80 years. Working with over 150 community partners, we fund over 300 programs each year to create a better future for children, families and seniors. Our vision is to create a healthy, caring, and inclusive community for everyone by strengthening our community’s capacity to address social issues.
The event will cost $5 for ticket admisson, and can be pruchased online through Giveffect (link below), or at the door (limiited tickets avaible the day of). All ticket proceeds, and a percenatge of the Pits profits from this event will go towards the United Way of Lower Mainlands goal of $1,000,000 for this year. The proceeds will go towards helping our local communities by combating poverty, giving all kids an equal chance to succeed, and building a stronger community. Profits made within the three hours (all ticket sales and percent profit from The Pit) of the event will go towards the United Way of Lower Mainland's goal of $1 million! THE PIT WILL STILL BE HOSTING KARAOKE AFTER THE EVENT IS OVER; there's still plenty of excitement afterwards!
